The Sharing Place Food Pantry
The Sharing Place is a material assistance program which provides food for families residing in an eleven zip code service area in Marion and Hancock Counties, Indiana. The Sharing Place is part of Lutheran Child & Family Services and staffed by volunteers recruited from the community and local congregations -- including folks from Cross & Crown. Clients are eligible to receive food two times per month. Main donation needs are non-sugar cereal (corn flakes), toilet paper, pork-n-beans, and egg noodles. Learn more about The Sharing Place >
SAWs (Servants at Work)
SAWs is a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing freedom to people with permanent disabilities in low-income households through the construction of wheelchair ramps. SAWs ramps serve as their gateway to the world, re- opening connections with neighbors and the larger community while providing independence and accessibility.
