At Cross & Crown we don't only believe that youth are the future of the Church, we believe they are the Church now! Read below about our different age-appropriate groups that help children and youth of all ages explore their faith and come to know Jesus.
SPLASH: BIRTH TO 3 FAITH FORMATION
Parents of babies and toddlers, Cross and Crown offers a faith-based curriculum for families with children under the age of 3 called Splash. The Splash newsletter is mailed directly to you with ideas to nurture faith development in young children. SUNDAY SCHOOL
Our Sunday morning Christian education program is for children ages 3 – 4th grade. We follow a lectionary-based curriculum, where the bible story taught in class each Sunday matches what the children will learn more about during the worship service. Children are split into age-appropriate groups and parents and other members volunteer to help lead the activity each week.
All volunteers with children receive training from church staff and complete a background check prior to working with children. Sunday school is held most weeks from Labor Day through Memorial Day with breaks during holidays and school vacations. Please check the church calendar for an updated schedule. MIDDLE SCHOOL
PULSE is our middle school ministry for youth grades 6 - 8. During the school year, PULSE meets every Sunday at 9:00 am for confirmation class and throughout the week for fun and fellowship and service projects. We focus on the following goals:

HIGH SCHOOL
RISE is the name for our senior high school youth group. We get together for a varitey of other social and service activities throughout the year. Our Youth Ministry exists to challenge high school students to be radically devoted to Jesus. And in their devotion, take their faith into the world, boldly sharing the Good News.

SUMMER DAYS TOGETHER
Summer Days Together will be held from June 23 – 27. This event is for the kids of our congregation, their friends, and their families. We will meet, eat, work, and worship from 9:15 am – 2:00 pm each day, followed by a fun activity. All kids must be accompanied and transported by a designated adult 18 years of age or older. If you need help providing supervision for your child, please contact Lisa Stocks.
